Show me your baguette eternity ring

Hi all,

While I work with my jeweller in coming up with a ¾ eternity ring.... I am looking for something to drool at (and to get inspired by).

Please show me your baguette eternity ring (half, ¾, full) with yr finger size and details (tcw / ring width, etc). I am looking high and low for inspiration (mixed stones welcomed!). Something modern, something chic, something blingy, something you love looking at and brings you joy!

I have three all full eternities.
I wear a 7 to 7.5 but I try and buy size 7.5 to 8 for full eternities.

First up is this baguette and round platinum size 8.5 no clue on ctw. But the baguettes are 4mm long.. It is 2.3mm wide (looks totally thinner but there is metal on the sides).


This is spinel but set in a bar setting. I wanted to test out the setting before I bought diamonds. It is 2.4mm wide


This is a size 7 so my tightest eternity. It is 2mm wide and super low. Maybe 3mm long baguettes

Thank you for sharing, I love your pieces! Your channel set - . This is a setting I have been considering but just worried it might look chunky. Yours shows it can look sleek!

The channel set bands are the sleekist bands I own. The baguettes outer edges just glide into the metal. Both mine are older, I'm sure there are ones made now but the baguette and round supposedly came from the art deco era.

The baguettes are also super thin width wise. The spinel is 3x2 I think and while I can see the cut clearly it is way too thick as a stacker. The other two fit into pretty much every stack. If I channel set the 3x2 it would be a wide band. The 1.5mm and 1.25mm wide stones are just right.


There are some lovely antique bands out there, so delicate and sparkly, if you aren't set on custom. I have 2 3/4 eternities, they spin and I constantly see the plain metal, drives me nuts but YMMV. A channel set baguette is pretty sturdy and has a low profile and really flat tables so I don't worry about the stones going all the way around. Just buy a half size up if you are concerned about outgrowing it.

I am getting it custom made. I have always been a round eternity kinda girl so this is new territory. The only thing I am certain of is going ¾ cos I don't want to damage the stones on the underside. I plan to wear it with my small Cartier Trinity ring, instead of my engagemeng ring, so I would like one with a bit of presence. Perhaps that way I can work with my jeweller to have the metal thin enough in a channel set vs the chunky ones i have seen.

This ring is 9mm across the top tapering to 5mm at the bottom of the shank and is 1.5 ctw

I like her too but it’s PS so full disclosure.
It is a very quiet “bling”. She sends off shards of light not a rock show. If your ok with that, it’s a great way to let a solitaire steal the show if paired with one.
One more thing. It’s a dirt magnet. But then again my 2.5 carat French cut Art Deco eternity is too and I wear it everyday!

Thanks for the honesty. I am looking for a quiet bling as am working towards one with more KAPOW! for our 10 yr wedding anniversary in 2 yrs time.
I will be pairing it with my Cartier trinity, as I tend to wear less of my e-ring these days.

Mine is also bar set. I love how it‘s quiet and matches with the baguettes and bullets on my ring. Size 4.75, 1.4 mm wide.

I have 2 baguette bands. One full eternity, and one half-eternity, both set in platinum. Both around G, VS or better. I'm a size 8.5-9.

The eternity was made by David Klass, and is just over 1ct. Between 3-4mm wide.


The half eternity is about 0.9ct, and about 2mm wide.
