Should I get a new setting? Knocked the ring and diamond is loose already :(

I accidentally knocked my ring on the side of a desk, and I noticed a prong was dented... I was upset but thought I would live with it... until... I touched the diamond and it moved a little. I only had this ring and asscher for 2 weeks and the ring is already damaged in my hands. I don''t think I knocked it hard, but if I managed to loosen it so easily, I think I might need a new setting...

It''s in a simple 4 prong setting now. I''m devastated... It took me months to get this ring and I''ve already killed it and I won''t be able to wear it till it''s either fixed or I get a new setting. Suggestions?
Any jeweller in Melbourne, Aus, that I could go to? I got the ring from interstate.

Contact Garry Holloway at www.hollowaydiamonds.com.au he is in Canterbury, I don't know if this is near enough but he might be able to help you.

It is entirely possible the setting can be saved so don't despair, these things happen unfortunately but when they do it can be devastating. Don't wear the ring until you have had an expert check it out.
