I''m looking at this stone from whiteflash, I (my gf in reality, haha) want an oval a little less than 1 carat I''ve learned a lot from reading here, but I still know nothing compared to you guys.... I will attach the pics and stats to the following replies

What is it listed as for clarity?

Ovals are divine. They appear larger than their true weight--and really are becoming on the finger. If I were you, I would get them on the phone and ask them (wf) what they think of it; does it have a or much of a bowtie?

Btw, what''s the color? Ovals tend to show their color more easily than rounds, for example.

H Color... I don''t think the gf cares that much about having it be totally colorless. It will be a white gold band though

H is a fabulous color!! It''s a sweet spot for many.

It will look GREAT in white gold.

Listen, this really should be sort of easy--I mean, you just have to trust that it will be the greatest thing ever. You have a good vender and open communication and a great return policy--that's the magic formula! I owned an oval once and loved it; it's one of my favorite shapes. I have traded stones too many times to count and loved each one for unique reasons. This is supposed to be FUN. FUN I tell you!

Trust and go with the flow. Ovals are not an exact science. Consider them to have their own little personalities. Seeing is believing, which is why I suggest that once they have eyed it and told you it looks good, then have it shipped to you for your approval. If it speaks to you, you have a winner.
