Shoe HELP !! Manolo Blahnik...

Hi Girls !!! I am absolutely IN LOVE with these shoes.... well, TWO in particular..

Problem is, I live in Canada and the closest store to purchase these shoes is HOURS away.. HOURS and HOURS ..

I have never had a pair of these on and wonder if they fit true to size ?????

Are they made wide or narrow ????

Will I order them and clutch them like a child, cradling them until someone has to pry them out of my cold, lifeless hands ??????

I''ve heard they are an ADDICTION !!!

I can order online and return them if I don''t like them, so that''s not an issue, but I am just not sure what size to get !!!

My shoe size is 9.5 - 10 and my feet aren''t wide, but not SLIM either...

And price wise, they are around 850.00 here.... is that average ???

It seemed high to me...

I hear they run a half size big...so if you normally wear a 9.5 get a 9. If you look on the neiman marcus website they are all between like $600-$800. Do you have a neimans there?

Brown eyed, I own them in black. I think I took an 8.5 and I wear that or a 9. Really depends on the brand, in Louboutin I take a 9.5 most of the time.

The Dorsay cut is sometimes hard for people if the have narrow ankles.

I think I paid 750.00 US for them. I am getting the silver too, they have to search another store for my size. But they are a great shoe, pretty comfy, not too high.

I am seraching trying to find a store in Canada relatively close that carries these shoes, but no luck so far. The store that does carry a limited inventory is 8 hours away.

Considering I live so close to the Border, I could just drive to the US in less time and really buy them there.

If I do order online, I would have selected a size 10 thinking like anything else DESIGNER, I would have to go a "size up"...

Poor BrownEyes would have been clutching her waaay to big shoes.... sobbing !!!!!!!

I have the red ones for my wedding. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 depending on the designer and I got the 6.5's. They fit well (need to stretch them out), but I think the 7s would have been slightly more comfortable.

They are EVEN more gorgeous in person. Can you order them from Bergdorf's or Barney's?

Price-wise - I think I bought mine for $655 +tax.

They are about 90mm which I think is 3.5 inches. You actually reminded me to stretch them out so I''m wearing them around the apartment today.

My FI is only 3 inches taller than me so we''ll be just about the same height when I''m in my shoes.

I have a pair of the Mary Jane Manolos, and I had to buy them one size down. The price that you quoted seems pretty consistent to me, especially with this particular style being extemely popular (I think it was heightened because a "Sex in the City" ep. revolved around these shoes).

I believe that Neiman Marcus now ships to Canada if that''s any option for you (I would assume Bergdorf''s would do it as well because they are the same company).

Have you thought about calling a Manolo store and asking what their return policy is? Whether it''s possible to order two sizes, and return a pair if you had to?

SuLi good job on the satc connection! i immediately recognized them as carrie''s stolen shoes! interesting that the show''s use of them made the price go up--in the episode, they quoted the shoes as being $695 without tax (i think, haha).

they''re reeally beautiful. order them from somewhere that doesn''t charge for shipping and handling; then if they don''t fit, you can trade them without having paid additional money. post more pix if you get them; these shoes are an obsession that i''ll never be able to afford, so i''ll live vicariously through your feet!

Ah, the Manolo sedarby. Saks carries it in the 3." (90mm) heel. You can call any Saks and have them ship it to you. My FI is wearing the same ones...

No problem for the photos!!

I find they run half size small. My silver ones were $665 plus tax and I got my red ones in the sale for a third off the retail price! The heel is about 90mm.

Thats right! Those are the Sex&theCity shoes! $8OO+ is overpriced, no? They were half that on the show. Shoes were the only accessories "Carrie" didn''t turn me off to.

They are $500 in stores... IF you can find them. $800 on eBay is about the best you''ll do if you can''t locate them... which is failry likely... supply and demand...

you''re right... just checked the receipt from Saks... $665 for the 90mm heel... I have no idea if the 105mm heel is more as I''ve never actually seen it in stores...

I love those Manolos. I have black satin. I am buying silver too. I think they look great on the foot and I can actually stand and walk in them.

The flip flops. Saks had a promotion where if you bought 2 pairs of shoes, you got a $100 gift card... The Tory Burch flip flops where the cheapest thing in the store that qualified...

I have a ton of her shoes. She has some nice ones and they are not expensive.

I also got the Chanel black rubber flip flops with the cream camellia and the cream ones with the black camellia. I love them.
