I''ll soon marry my GF in China. I see Blue Nile ships diamonds to China by FEDEX. Rather than having a diamond shipped to where I live (Canada), and paying 12% in taxes, I could have it shipped to China with only 4% taxes and have it set there.
Does anyone know if Blue Nile can ship directly to a residential address in China? And is it true that the Chinese VAT is only 4% on loose polished diamonds?
