With all the discussions as of late regarding how shared prong wedding/eternity bands damage/eat away at the engagement ring''s prongs, I''m wonderingif I should nix my craving and just stick with the plain wedding band I have....

Any RC wearing ladies out there who went the shared prong route, and if so can anyone tell me how your setting fared?

(I wonder how this set turned out over time....)

My setting is very similar to the Royal Crown, and I went with a Memoire shared prong band. It is set very low and the stones do not rub the e-ring setting at all. I would only recommend Memoire or Tiffany because I know those two are set low enough not to rub. The Memoire is not cheap, but it is a good bit less than Tiffany. It comes in many, many different size combinations.

I''m very happy with my Ritani shared prong eternity band. It sits low and I haven''t lost any stones. It''s also extremely comfortable.

I think I read about someone who''s memoire band scratched up their ering (princess ering).
I guess it depends on the individual setting, etc!

Thank you!

I have never seen that...do you have the link?

(ETA: I see the post you are talking about...but I think it must have more to do with the way the three stone ring head was designed. My shared prong band stones do not even touch the e-ring setting at any point. And I don't think it would bother a RC either. But mine is not full eternity, so that might make a difference, not sure.)
