For those of us with horses, share pictures, stories, anything! Past horses, present horses, share all. I have two right now, both purebred arabians. Bali is 5 he is the gray and his father is a national winner and his grandfather was US national Champion back in the day in halter. His mother''s great great grandfather was the immortal Bask who was a national winner in halter and saddle seat. Rou is 18 and he''s the dark bay. He''s a show winner and is now retired. He won in western pl, hunger pl, training level dressage, halter, showmanship, team penning, and he''s even done some jumping and barrels. Nowadays we go for lazy rides and he teaches a young boy how to ride. I''ve had tons of horses in the past including quarter horses, appies, ponies, and arabs.

BEAUTIFUL!! The one thing I love about Arabs is how they hold their tails so high when running! My TB (pictured in another thread) does that when he is REALLY REALLY excited, but not very often. Arabs are gorgeous. Too bad I''m too tall for most of them. I use to board at a barn that bred desert bred arabians. I much prefer the more refined kind like yours!

hoofbeat - I love it when they flag their tails too. The bay is desert bred through the Babson breeding program. They are old old desertbred stock, he''s not as pretty as he looks lol he''s def got a roman nose, but I love him. The babsons were really good at being all around work horses like he has been.

I noticed that after I posted. But still must be a different line. The barn I was at certainly didn''t have arabs as attractive as these.
