setting width

my g/fs finger size is 6-7 (whatever the average BnM ring is) what is a good setting width for it? is 2.5 mm too small???
the setting is a solitaire with sidestones

I don''t think 2.5mm is too small, in fact I prefer bands which are 2 - 2.5mm myself. Is this for a metal solitaire band?

I''m a size 7 and personally, I prefer the thinner bands. I think a 2.5mm sounds lovely!
