Setting similar to Tiffany&Co Ribbon Ring

My Gf likes the Tiffany Ribbon ring but in a 1ct G VS2 center they price quoted me was $18k. And they won't even let me select the diamond but rather choose one for me. That sounds absurd as I want an ideal cut. So, Tiffany is out.

I don't like replicas but wouldn't mind something similar in nature but different enough that it doesn't look like a clone. We liked the Ribbon because the side ribbons help give good finger coverage. The 1ct is a little small for her tastes but it works with this design. She loves how the side view shows almost the entire diamond including the point as in the pic below.

It really does make the diamond pop even though it's not that apparent in the pics.

So, I'm looking for something similar but not the same. I'm also considering a half bezel with side stones if possible to help with finger coverage.

I'm getting a tiffany ribbon too. Tiffany does let you choose the stone. My sales lady gave me a list of all the stones they have that meet my criteria, 4 C's, reports for the cut proportion, price, etc. She even suggested if I can't find a stone I like, she can even try to look for it on other settings and just have it remount to the setting I want. It's just a problem with your SA. I'm pretty sure most SA would give you all the info needed, if they really want to make the sale.

The Whiteflash ring looks nice but I don't see it on their site so perhaps they got into some sort of legal issue due to the design being so similar?

Also, would this setting require a higher color diamond. I know that MaryAlaina's is a J but that one seems pretty quite compared to others I have seen.

As I was looking on WF's site for the ribbonesque ring I came across the Katie pave.

It has a similar open view. I'm wondering if there are more designs like this. Perhaps one with side stones to provide better finger coverage.

If not I may still opt for the T&CO Ribbon ring. I'll have to talk to a different SA as I told them I'd like a diamond with a range specific proportions and they said I could only specify the color, clarity, and carat size and they'd give me a range of prices.
