Setting Problem for Radiant!!!

Hello All Pricescope Members -

I''m in search of advice! I have a 1.70 Radiant cut diamond set in a cathedral setting. The diamond has shifted in the setting twice, so much so that i could turn it a half quarter turn in the setting. I have taken it back to the jewelers where the diamond and setting were purchased and he informed me that if the diamond gets loose one more time, he was going to replace the head of the ring with one that had the squared corners, like the ones you often see for princess cut diamonds. I really do not want that head on my ring. Anyone have any suggestions???

Thanks for the advice. It is set in 4 prong head and I am kind of hard on my jewelry. Maybe I''ll just look for another setting!

Give me a break, you should be able to sleep, eat, breathe...wearing your diamond ring! Something is wrong with the metallurgy or the workmanship. Of course banging the ring into things is risky, but come on.
