Setting ideas for a chubby heart

Need ideas please.... I am given a chubby heart like this, vivid red with very slightly purple undertone, not quite a heart shape, but wanna be. How would you set this? As a ring or pendant? (preferably as a ring). I really want to bring out the heart shape a bit more.... I don't think it is worth a recut.

This is not my stone, I just found this online. I don't have picture of mine yet, but it is going to be similar shape.

It is about 8mm wide, 5.8mm tall, unfortunately I don't know the depth, but guessing not deep.

It looks more like a chubby pear. I like the idea of a drop pendant.

I was thinking of the same idea as @dk168 with a false cleft in the middle, like pictured below.
You could incorporate the metal cleft into other designs if you wanted a halo, etc.

Great ideas ladies, maybe a false cleft with pave stones (diamonds or pink sapphires) around it...
