Setting ideas for 1ct cushion

After a few weeks perusing the forums here I'm now working with a vendor to find the perfect approx 1ct cushion for my girlfriend. While we work to find the right diamond I've started thinking about the setting. She is not a fan of 3-stone settings and seems to prefer the halo settings similar to the Tiffany Legacy. While each jeweler seems to have their own take on the Legacy I was wondering if anyone had any particular settings they thought worked well with that scale of cushion.

A few that I've found and like:
- Pearlman's Beverley K
- Leon Mege r821
- Leon Mege r945

Any advice / thoughts are much appreciated!

Those are all beautiful settings! I love the 2nd Leon, although I wonder if it might not be a bit overwhelming for the diamond. I''m leaning more towards the 1st Leon for the relative simplicity of the style.

katebar did a Legacy inspiration (I think hers was custom) for her tourmaline through Whiteflash not long ago. It''s stunning - check it out as well

I actually really like the Whiteflash Legacy inspired setting. For a 1ct cushion, it might make sense to spend slightly less on the setting and giving the rest to the diamond. I suspect Leon Mege will quote over $4000 for that setting (and I feel I am being very conservative).

I love the Leon r821 out of the choices you posted. However, I also love both choices Tuckins1 posted and I think they''d both be a bit more affordable, which would allow you to put more $ into the cushion center stone.

I checked in with Leon and you''re all certainly correct that the settings I posted do not come cheap (especially the 3rd). I think Leon is (unfortunately) out of my price range but I''m still looking at him as inspiration. Thanks for all of your help -- if you see anything I might have missed I''m all ears

They are all very pretty, but I like the second the best. It would also be easy to fit a wedding band flush with it.
