I really like A, and my second choice would be B. (A) just has more detail, but is simple and elegant.

I prefer A, with the runner up being B. They are very similar, but I like the added simple detail of how the shank in A looks like it''s being gathered before it meets the vertical notches.

in that order...D looks rather high set and i would think might catch more easily on things. IMO, D is also less classic and perhaps a little more trendy.
