Setting for OMC Stone

Hello all,
I am currently at the hospital after a serious surgical procedure. To cheer myself up am looking at the stones and settings to put a ring together for mine 35th birthday in late January.
This is the stone that I have in mind, but I have no idea about the setting. I am not a fan of halos or low sitting stones.
Please take a look at the stone and let me know what do you think about it and what kind of seetig you would choos to go with it.

Is this to be worn as an e-ring, or a RHR, or neither? Come colored stones could also be pretty to set it off...
