Setting Challenge: 4 doubleclaw prong; tiffany stlye profile

Hello. I need some help. I am interested in a custom made 4 prong setting with 'fine/thin' double claws (platinum metal, but the least amount of metal possible). There is no top budget so I'm hoping this is possible. If anything simlar has been made or posted anywhere, please do share

Here is the challenge:

- Looking for the top view to be harry winston style double claw... four prong (thin).
- I do not like catherdral style setting.
- The setting style (from the side view) that I would like is the classic Tiffany style (just 4 prong, not 6). See pics below.

I understand that 4 prong may be more risky than 6, but 4 prong is what my heart is set on and I am willing to take the risk.

I appreciate any help because I do not know where to go and can not find a similar ring setting anywhere, even just to give a custom jeweler my idea. Some have mentioned Leon M, but I can't find something he side that descibes what I'm looking for, but willing to go see him.

PS, I can find many pics with the same top down view that I want however, the challenge is to keep the same top down view while creating a ring similar to the side view below (tiffany classic style).

I think with those two pictures you can give a custom jeweler a very good idea of what you are looking for. But the profile view is going to change a bit from the exact picture because you want two less prongs; so those pretty V/U shapes are not going to be the same, they will have to be wider- are you ok with that change?

yes I am sure that is possible...you would just need to contact some jewelers. Obviously the profile view will be different as you won't have that prong in the middle.

it will be more similar to the Tiffany Novo (there are a lot of replicas of this style).

you might want to check out Victor Canera-he does very nice claw prongs.
