Long time viewer, first time poster.

I finally got my diamond from DCD (who were great to work with), got the stone appraised and am set to go.

Now, however, I am not sure how to permanently set it - and would love suggestions...I would like to wear it will my wedding band (shown in the pic below)... anyone got any ideas?

did you check the ering eye candy folder for ideas? what do you want? solitaire...sidestones...pave?
and can we see some specs for that rock!!?
(please)

Yes, please post the specs on your beautiful princess, it looks huge on your hand. Is your wedding band a 5 stone band, or an eternity band?

I have NO clue what I want and I have been looking around a bit

(which I know is not the worst situation to be in). I do know that I don't want anything too ornate....

The stone is a 3.44 ct (GIA) VS1, J (I don't see any color to it...)

I think its fanfreakingtastic just how it is!

Holy s**t girl! That thing is blinding!! Personally, I think it is fantastic the way it is. I would leave it as such. Or maybe, if you must change it, have it set into a pave band?? Either way, it''s a beautiful stone!!!

I agree! I love princess cuts in a simple solitaire....and your band looks great! If you like that look but want something with a little more sparkle what about a pave'' band? I know Vatche makes them and whiteflash.com carries them I don''t know if they will work for a princess but I can''t see why not! Or maybe some engraving on the band? That stone looks so lovely!

Whiteflash.com has A LOT of princess settings! I love their U-prong and W-prong for princess cuts!

To answer a question, is a five stone band (.35 points each stone), but I will probably upgrade it to an eternity band for my anniversary this year.

PS Sorry for the blurry image (I took the pic with my camera phone).

I saw a woman with an absoutely gorgeous princess with side baguettes today, when I went to pick up my husband''s new wedding band.

It looked sort of like this:

She was picking up a wedding band she had made to match by removing the head from the ring setting and having the center shaped to fit against the ering. Stunning when they were worn together!

It looked similar to this but the center baguette was not as large because it was made to sit perfectly flush and the princess overlapped a bit. Also, the bars were not as thick between her baguettes.
