Setting a diamond in the UK

I am likely to be buying a diamond from BlueNile in the coming days.

I'd like to investigate the possibility of buying just the diamond and having it set by a different company/jewler. I do quite like the blue nile basic 4 prong setting, but would like to investigate any subtle differences available elsewhere in the UK. Can anyone suggest sites/companies I should consider?

If you want a simple setting, go to hatton gardens in London. Any decent jeweller can do this.

I bought a vintage diamond ring from ebay. I had Ernest Jones reset the diamond and polish up the setting. It came back looking like new. I was very pleased with the service.
