I *think* I would like to get two bands to match my ering. I assumed they would be white gold. Two questions - which is where the photoshop comes in - pretty please!!

1. Is two going to be too thick? Would one be better?
2. I have recently fallen in love with the Cartier trinity band, and I was REALLY curious what my set would look like with one rose gold band and one yellow gold band with the plat engagement ring in the center.

If anyone could help me with this - I know there are some wizards on here - I would really appreciate it! :) :)

Thanks! TGIF!

this was real quick and dirty, but you can get an ide for how wide it would be.

Don''t know photoshop but I did wanna mention that many people don''t advise mixing gold & platinum ... I think the reason is that platinum is harder & will wear down the gold over time? No expert ... but look into it before you decide.

If you DO decide to do that ... would it be crazy to do PAVE bands like your ering? Rose gold pave & yellow gold pave like Cameron Diaz''s pave Cartier trinity band. It would be "wow" but I dunno if it would be "wow -good" or "wow-too much".

Here''s Cameron''s ring that I mentioned....

here is rose gold and yellow gold...

I think two thin plain bands would look good in white metal. I think three bands all covered in dimonds would be overkill.

Thanks for the help so far! I had seen the paved trinity - I couldn''t place that it was Cameron''s. I do think its wow - but like you, deco - I tend to think it might be "wow" too much - now that I see how wide it will be! *Still would love to see it if someone has the Photoshop time!! :) :)

I think I''ll go with one pave or two thin plat plain bands.

I like both of those choices but prefer the two band look mostly because it is symmetrical and will really let your ring *pop*!

I think she''s hoping to see yellow & rose gold pave bands, to mimic the look of the trinity?

Don''t have any photo editing software on this computer or else I''d give it a shot!

But I do agree that it''s possible it might be too much - I think it''s likely that the trinity band works because they overlap. All three types stacked might not work as well...but I''d love to check it out if someone can photoshop it!

(And your ring is GORGEOUS by the way!!)

I think two 2mm platinum bands would look nice ... but I have another idea too!

What about a single Michael B "Lace" half round band. The "Lace" has some plain metal & then little clusters of pave which would reference your E-ring without "matching" .. i.e. another whole "matching" pave band.

Non-matching is my new "black" HA! As if anyone but me cares!

Yes - would love to see the pave yellow and rose - even though it is likely too much :)

Albi - thanks :) He did well! LOL

deco - I LOVE that idea! I hadn''t seen that Michael B - even though that is the "picture" I sent my FI when he was shopping - the petite princess. Hmmm... too many choices. I am an awful decision maker. :)

Right trinity, sorry used plain, non pave before

i lurve the michael b lace....yum!

I know I''m pushing my favor limits - but can I see one like the one in Avlis did, but with the pave like in the trinity Pricescope did? Does that make sense? Just the pave yellow on one side of my ering and the pave rose on the other side of my ering.

Thanks!!!

**The more I look, the more I love the Michael B lace!

if you post links to pictures of the side bands you want, i can put them in. this is good PS practice for me, i havent used it in a while.

they are going to hurt each other i think

The Michael B Lace would look much better on the hand than it does in that picture.... someone around here has handshots of it ... can''t recall who ... and Tiffani Amber Theissan has a 2mm or 2.5mm lace wedding band in the Celeb Ring Pix folder.

Here''s a link with pix a little better than the Pearlman''s ones ... a little further back I guess ... too close up they look weird. From a distance it''s just a little glitter - metal - glitter. I think it would look AMAZING with your e-ring.

This one is really pretty!!! You could do small thin spacers and then decrease the thickness of each band slightly and it would definitely work.
