I was nearly ready to buy a diamond and ring from Robbins Brothers when I came across this website, and now I'm second guessing myself. It's really nice to be able to see several loose diamonds next to one-another, but it looks like I'm going to be unable to afford the quality that I want if I shop at robbins brothers. Any tips on selecting a good diamond online and does anyone know a good online dealer/jeweler that I should try talking to?
I have no idea what I should be looking for in terms of table and depth percentages and other numbers, so I'm concerned about buying online. Based on what I've seen in Robbins Brothers, I would really like to purchase a diamond of F color or better and in the SI clarity category (or better). I'm not totally settled on a ring yet, so I may be looking for Round or Princess cut diamonds sized .75-1 carat. Under $3000 would be great, but if that's a little too ambitious, I could probably push to $4000.
The two rings I'm deciding between are linked below. If someone wants to point me to similar rings for cheaper, that would be great too!

Thanks for any help you can give!
