Could someone tell me anything aboyt my pearls? Im pretty cluelass. They are marked silver top gsv bottom patp on the clasp and thats about all i know. Those are cultured freshwater pearls from China. Patp means patent pending, I assume on the clasp design.

Not worthless, not not valuable, either, given that the pearls are small, not round, and many are low luster (a pearl that has a band of low luster is considered low luster, even if there are other parts of the pearl that are very lustrous.).

Pearls in general do not hold their value on resale. Lower quality pearls are very common so I would expect resale value to be low.

I suggest you look on eBay to see what similar strands sold for. Then you can decide if selling them is worth your while.

I agree completely with pearlsngems. Those are quite inexpensive cultured Chinese freshwater pearls and are unlikely to hold much resale value. If you look at the completed sales listings on eBay you'll get a sense of what they might sell for.
