Anyone else watch it?
All I can say is WOW.
What a heart touching show.

I just finished watching it....

It was wonderful, and inspiring...things like that make me want to do more for those less fortunate...

What station? Is it just today? I haven't heard about it. eta: okay, I googled it; it is on FOX. I am watching it right now.

Tears flowing. Very heart warming.
My husband and I adopted a family for Christmas this year and let me tell you it is a wonderful feeling to give to others in need. We had such fun buying for two little boys again. I only wish we could meet the family and see their faces on Christmas morning.

My husbands team at work adopted a family for Christmas this year and divided the family up so each team member had one person to buy for....my husband ended up getting one of the little girls, she listed her age as 13 and she requested 38DD bras

I think it will be a mini season, possibly thru the holidays....

Oh my, have fun with that one!

I love the intention of it and think it is timely, but I suspect that like many "reality" shows these days, most of it was a set-up (I only watched the father-son episode so my comments are only based on that one)... the producers found the families and arranged for the millionaires to go and see each of them... they arranged the job for the father and son etc. I think I would have liked it more if it were more real and the rich people had to acutally cope with poverty for longer than a week, but maybe that is asking too much. I believe Morgan Spurlock (of SuperSize Me fame) did a documentary about it where he actually lived on welfare for 30 days, and I found that much more hard-hitting and real.

But it has its heart in the right place, that''s for sure.

I think the show was like 30% shinning the spotlight on poverty, and need...and 70% about the giving to these people who are in need--although people might never take the time to notice it.

The first episode did make the father/son combo "rough" it more than the second...the LA couple was more set up than the CA duo. But, the LA husband and wife gave $300,000 to organizations--Church center, family center, football team...while the father/son sought out individuals in need.

I am sure it gets sets up on some level of production...for the safety of everyone involved...but hey, giving is giving.

I missed it. So it''s in Fox, is it a nightly show?? Will google it now.

I only caught the end when they were giving away checks and I damn near cried.

If the recipients truly did not know and are given this gift, wow, I think that is so great. I think the premise is a great one. I am sure it is very heartwarming, I know I would be bawling.

Its a 6 episode series.
Next on Wed and Thursday of next week on fox.

will try to remember to do so.

It was awesome.

I watched it and I loved it. I did point out, as neat freak did, that it was set up by fox to get viewers, but its heart was in the right place. I cried everytime they gave out the checks. It was truly touching to help people in need!!!

I loved it.

Interesting show. It''s been on in the UK for a few years now. My cousin participated in the first series and has stayed in touch with the people he met. Pretty cool show. If I''m ever amillionaire, I''ll do it!
