So I''ve been learning so much on this website, thanks a lot everyone!

I picked a setting from Scott Kay that I''m in love with and now I need to find the right diamond for it. Originally I thought I had a 2500-3000 budget but now we''re working at 4000-4500. The setting I chose is going to cost around 2000 so I have 2000 left for the diamond! It needs to be a round one to match the style. I have to admit that I found the setting at Robbins Bros, are they going to make me purchase the diamond there as well? They said they do price matching so I''m hoping to bring something I''ve found online to them so they''ll match the price. I''d go somewhere else but they offered the Scott Kay for 1000 less than anywhere else I''ve found, including Pearlmans.

Here is the ring I''ve chosen: http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/scott-kay-jewelry/rings/147U1/12/

it will be in white gold, not platinum.

So I guess my questions are:

1. can you guys show me some diamonds in my price range? I''m thinking .7-.9 size, g-j color, and a great cut. Clarity just needs to be great to the eye. I''m still learning!

2. has anyone had a GOOD experience with RB?

Why not purchase the setting and ship it to the person from whom you will purchase the diamond. They set it. It never left their possession in case something goes wrong. RB doesn''t have to bite the bullet on a diamond they didn''t sell. Everybody wins.
