OK, I was stupid. I thought I was on the DMV website and got scammed by a fake website. I only lost $4, but they now have all my information, including credit card and code. So, please, guys, be more aware than I was.

Don't stress, it happens to us all at some point!

Have you cancelled the payment and your card yet?

No. I tried, but could not get through, so tomorrow.
The (scam) charge was $20, but they gave me back the $20 and charged a $4 Service fee to do it. Those worms.

Oh no @Jimmianne thank goodness it wasn’t any worse.

That is awful. I hope you get everything quickly cancelled.

Yes, and it is not so terrible, just felt awful to be robbed. Apparently It is a big problem that private companies put up websites that mimic government agency sites.

I did not do a good due diligence and paid a lot more than the 7 CAD required for an electronic travel permit recently.
I did not think about cancelling until it was too late. Lesson learned!
