I went to pick up my five stone from being sized and got to try on a six carats radiant with half carat sidestones. No big deal, $80,000 jewelry is a normal afternoon activity around here.

My 15 year old daughter promptly decided she would like to wear my new shiny (an OEC five stone that I picked up at Jewel Box in Dallas).

Thanks for the kind words about mine - I have been watching it flash rainbows all afternoon.

In person, the radiant was a lot less mushy looking than in the photo and had a pretty four-main design. And after seeing so many big rocks on here, it was really fun to see what one looked like in person.

Totally worth a trip - I’ll meet you there sometime if you’d like. It’s all estate pieces and they’re so nice about letting you try on anything in the cases. Also, I want to know what your usual haunts are, as I don’t have any - the places I’ve been on my side of town have been underwhelming. @Starfacet introduced me to Jewel Box and we have talked about going to another place she likes that’s a little further away...Saginaw, maybe?

Showing a pretty windmill through a tiny table. My ring size is (gulp) 9.25, so I’m very pleased with the finger coverage. The repair done to the prongs is less than perfect, but the diamonds are secure.

Tall prongs. They seem to be a bit flattened at the bottom - maybe where the original owner wore it against her engagement ring?

There was obviously some engraving along the band. I’ve been looking to see if I can find a photo of one that has intact engraving - I’m curious about the original look.
