Sassee is finally engaged! Yay!

Just wanted to share that my fiance (ooh wow, I can finally call him that!!) proposed over the weekend.

Despite the fact that I knew the ring was coming, it was still a magical, romantic proposal and in the end, a complete surprise.

Long story, but ultimately he tricked me into believing that he was going to a Bucks weekend. In actual fact he''d been planning this for a few weeks.

We went on a spectacular cliff top walk and he proposed whilst we looked out at the ocean. He then ran off over a hill to collect champers and glasses that he''d hidden earlier that morning.

We then went back to his property and the second surprise of the day was that he''d organised for all of our closest family to be there for a celebration dinner!

We drank so much fantastic champagne and had a wonderful night!

I''ve got a few photos that I can share but we need to learn how to get some decent shots... the photos don''t really do it justice as it sparkles like mad!!

Even though he drove me to the brink with the waiting, I think it was all worth it in the end!!

When he next comes up (yes, the pitfalls of his commuting back and forth between the peninsula and Melbourne) and he brings the camera, I will try and get some better shots!

I was a bit nervous about it because I''d never seen such a setting before with a cushion, but I think it looks fabulous (if I do say so myself!!) and it just gives it that point of difference. My wedding band will end up replicating the engagement band with the baguettes... but knowing how long it took to source the bags (eg. about 8 weeks!) I will be getting onto it ASAP!
