A princess cut diamond I am interested in varies in information from sarin vs. GIA. That which particuarly concern me are:

Sarin:
Size: 5.39 X 5.44
Table: 69.9

GIA:
Size: 5.46 X 5.44
Table: 64

Are these variations normal? Thanks for your input/advice.

I recently posted a similar question, and was told that its a result of measurement error tolerances. The difference in "size" looks normal. However your large table size difference looks like there might be a mistake. I would ask the dealer to verify.

Glacier..that's a princess, not a round silly!!! That table is SMALL!!!!

....you are right...that is a REALLY big difference...

Bump....Jonathan is in the house...if anyone can answer the question, he can..maybe he'll notice the post!

That's a little larger difference than normal (there almost always is a difference), but not out of the realm of possibility.

Usually I find the GIA table measurement to be the most accurate in the GIA versus Sarin shootout. Not always, but usually.

REALLY! Gia over Sarin?
