hi!!
i got the sarin and idealscope today on the stone i had brought into WF - the gemologist there says it''s a winner ---
i''d love some feedback, please?
Then you're definetly safe with eyecleanliness. Both pics look really super. Love the L/W ratio and I see no bow tie to speak of. Looks like a winner to me. How would you set this beauty?
Jaw-dropping gorgeous. My pharmacist has an emerald cut ring with a (it looks like) 7 stone emerald cut wb. I so need to take pics. It''s one of the most beautiful ECs I''ve seen in person. It reminds me of this pic. I say go for it.
they''re actually working with the designers at WF to see about a couple different setting options i found - i''ll post the pics of the ones in the running..
Honestly, I love ECs almost any way, but there is something about the uniqueness of the east/west settings that I adore. Still classic but different then you see almost everywhere else.
i love things that are different and unique
but i''m not sure that either setting would lend itself to an e-w set stone..hmm..something else to think about!
Actually, when I scrolled down and saw the first setting you posted, I thought E/W immediatly and that was the reason I asked. It wouild be lovely that way. Both ways really.
after poor Celina at WF getting quotes for me on either of the rings shown above, it was determined that they would put my purchase too far over my budget.
so, DH popped onto the WF website and found their engraved cathedral setting.
judging from the pix alone, i actually don''t like it much, but, i know that pix alone aren''t really a fair way to judge anything.
has anyone seen this setting live and in person who can give me some feedback?
will it look OK with the EC diamond we''ve chosen?
