sapphire side stones

Looking for an e-ring. I wanted something with sapphire sidestones. I love the look of the half moons with an oval diamond center stone. My only question is can you get sapphires cut in that style.

If so, can anyone direct me to some sites that have what I am looking for.

hi there,
i absolutley love sapphire sidestones, and love halfmoons. noone that i know stocks sapphire or ruby halfmoons, so you will need to have your jeweler have them custom cut from ovals. i've done it, and the result is fabulous!

Thanks for the info. I'm new at this. I have just started my search. Did you have it done? If so I would love to see a pic. Are there any requirments when having a jeweler do this. Well the question I'm asking is would I have to just look for an oval sapphire or does it have to be cut a certain way.

Not imposible to find, and should be available to your jeweler - even though pairs of specialty cut sidestones like these would not be routinely listed fore selling retail

If I remember right, one Richard Landi (and perhaps other designers') setting come with colored half-moon side stones.
