Sapphire and Diamond Eternity Band

I’m in the market for a sapphire and diamond alternating eternity band in white gold with round brilliant or princess cut stones. A trusted local jeweler had the below full eternity ring in yellow gold, 0.60 tcw sapphire, 0.40 tcw diamonds. It’s not an estate piece but has been there a long time. It’s currently priced at $1500; however, I know I could get them to go lower. The other problem is that it’s yellow gold, so I would need to have them plate it. Worthwhile or keep looking? Thanks, folks!

If it doesn’t meet all your requirements you won’t be happy in the long run. I’d keep looking.

I can't see it super-well but it doesn't scream "sapphire" to me. I don't think it's a great example of an alternating eternity. That said, it's hard for me to know what one could get with a $1500 ceiling so you will need to factor in my ignorance there. I don't think this is a steal.

I found my ring but thought I’d include some that I didn’t get but found along the way first. In the first picture, the second ring from the top was exquisite but out of my price range. Breathtaking! The ring in the second picture was also out of my price range. The third picture was in my price range, but I was looking for one without milgrain.

And the winner! White gold, 0.42 carats of G/H diamonds VS2/SI1 clarity and 0.36 carats of sapphires. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who dissuaded me from getting the yellow gold one rhodium plated.
