Royal Jewels

She wore this well. I wonder why she's never worn it again. I'd love to see it out again!

I suppose she tried it and decided it was too big for her and possibly too difficult to wear, being a complete circle. Other on this and other forums have suggested that it's too closely related to British colonial past.
Whatever the case, I agree with you that it was worn well and hope we'll see it again. It's such a magnificent piece!

Halloween Costume idea....all black, construction vest, and rhinestone jewelry.

I'm the Louvre Thief! :lol::lol::lol:

From X, @Remisagoodboy:

Her Royal Highness “The Princess of Wales, and Prince George arrive at the Royal Albert Hall for the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, an annual event honouring military service members, which holds special significance in 2025 as it marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two.”

The cross necklace worn by Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales is not described, hope someone can tell us details.

i found this in the comments section of the Express

Far from 'fancy dress' Queen Camilla is wearing the uniform of her appointment as Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeth' Own).

Female Colonels do not look good in the masculine version of military uniforms- that is why they have their own version.

As Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, the late Queen Elizabeth did not wear a bearskin but a tricorn hat and long skirt

As Gold Stick, the Princess Royal does not wear the Albert helmet or cuirasses of her male Life Guards. counterpart and there are several other differences which take into account her gender.

So it it is with Queen Camila, a lot of thought has gone into the design of her uniform which reflects the military dress distinctions and ancestry of 'her' regiment and I am sure all ranks of the Royal Lancers are appreciative of it.
