Round stone help! Got it narrowed down

Hi,

I'm new to all the diamond stuff, I'm picking out the stone for an engagement ring and i have come up with the 2 following.

From what i can see very little difference in size but otherwise similar minus one being rated ACA.

Slightly more leakage and green under the table for the ES stone due to the larger crown angle, that probably throws it outside the range of ACA criteria, might not be noticeable in real life unless compared side by side with a better proportioned stone. No hearts image to compare the optical symm of the pavilion facets.

What would you pick?
I'm leaning towards the .78 since it is somewhat close to the .71.

I think i would prefer to have a better cut stone then a slightly larger stone.

agree. sometimes lurkers on the site who are looking for something similar will see the posted stones and snatch them up before you get them on hold.

That definitely happened to me and delayed my purchase for 2 months. I would pick the .71. the other has a too steep crown angle and as a result looks darker than the .71ct. one.

Oups, the 0,71 ct is shown "sold" on WF website...only the 0,78 ct seems to remain available. You should decide fast if you're really interested in that stone.

Yeah, these stones sell FAST!

I'm having the same issue over here.... so I'm not posting anymore links I'm truly interested in until I put them on hold

Your stones are gonna be so white and icy ... I looked at some E colored diamonds today and was in awe
