Round diamond with cavity in girdle...should i be concerned?

i found nice round diamond. but my concern is the small cavity on the girdle. should i be worried that it will chip further or hurt the value of the diamond?

At first glance, it looks pretty benign to me. As far as price, I'm sure the inclusion is taken into account in the pricing.

What's the clarity grade?

If you're interested in the diamond, you might make the purchase contingent upon the diamond appraising out to your satisfaction, with a right of return for ANY reason.

This is a reasonable request, which most vendors will go along with. Then you can ask the appraisal to examine the cavity with a critical eye, along with every other aspect of the diamond.
