I priced a ring from james allen. My budget was around 6k. I am going to a tent sale friday and i wanted a backup plan if i couldn''t find anything but I want the backup to be good. I thought this ring for the money looked good but any opinion would be great. Hoping to pop the question in the next week...

Don't like the c/p on the JA, need c/p & lgf for WF, and request IS for both.

How come the WF doesn''t come with a lot of the diamond specifications? I am going tomorrow to look at loose diamonds and I don''t know enough about crown angles and what i''m ACTUALLY looking at. Hope I don''t get burned...

the WF ES and ACAs will have this info

It''s not one of WF''s in-house stones - it''s from the virtual inventory that a ton of vendors share, and any of them can call it in. Sometimes vendors attach reports for these virtual stones, but often they''ll wait until a customer expresses interest.

Ditto on the JA stone. Bad angles, you can even notice the leakage in the loupe image.

Hi David

Personally I would pass on the JA diamond, the angles aren''t good and you can see definite leakage in the loupe image, so I wouldn''t bother getting an Idealscope image.
