I am considering to purchase the following diamond from a local dealer. I would like to get an advice from experts here to see if this is a good buy or not.

Carat: 0.66
Color: F
Clarity: VS2
Measurements: 5.70x5.68x3.43
Depth: 60.3%
Table: 56%
Symmetry/Cut: Excellent.
Additional: H&A and certified by EGL Israel

Asking price without tax is 2400.

I'd like to get an opioion about:
1) The quality of diamond.
2) Price of diamond.

I'd really appreciate any feedback.

You could by a diamond of the same size/specs from an online jeweller with a better certificate. EGL certs are know to be a couple of grades off in colour and clarity. I think the price you have been given price is quite high for an EGL certified stone.

there are many others on the James allen website which are in your price range, have GIA/AGS certs and have images (idealscope, hearts) to back them up?

Can you please provide more details on your comment regarding "EGL certification"?

Also, according to you, what would be a good price for this stone?
