Hi,

I think I have found the ideal stone for me but would really value your opinion.

Round brilliant, 0.61, GIA EX, VG, VG. 5.43 - 5.47- 3.33. VS1, H. No fluorescence.

It scores 1.3 on the HCA and although I havent seen it yet seems really great on paper.

My only concern in the H colour as I have only viewed D - G stones so far. Will it still look white? It will be in a 'tiffany style' setting.

My alternative stone is an F colour SI1 and is graded excellent by IGI but seems to face up a bit small. It only scored 4 on the HCA but the colour is apealing.

Does the colour effect the sparkle? Thats my main criteria and want a nice clean stone as have super vision when it comes to flaws.

They are the pretty much the same price and my maximum budget.

Thanks in advance!

Additional info:

Numbers for HCA are:

Depth 61.1%
Table 57%
Crown angle 35.5 deg
Pavilion angle 40.6 deg
Culet none

Post the numbers you used for the HCA score.

At that size, color difference will be very difficult to distinguish once set unless you are very color sensitive and the stones are side by side.

Yes, H colour is white through the table.
No, colour doesn´t affect the sparkle.

H for that size will face up pretty white~
