rose cut ruby eternity help

I have been looking everywhere for an eternity band with rose cut rubies. I can't seem to find one other than the cathy waterman band which is way out of budget. I also spoke to Singlestone and they won't make a rose cut ruby band (they said many people don't like rose cut rubies as they tend to read find of flat and lifeless) - so they are out. Can anyone help me find one?!!

I am sorry to have to agree with SS. Rose cuts are amazing light leakers and a rose cut coloured stone band will look like it has dyed cut glass (dead and lifeless), other than having a heftier price tag.

I understand that the look may not be for everyone...but I really happen to love rose cuts (diamonds or colored stones). I'd really love to be able to find another option aside from Cathy Waterman's ring. Anyone else have ideas??

I think at one point jewels by erica grace commissioned some rose cut sapphire bands. Try talking to them.

You could also try out Ruby Lane. They may have a band with ruby rose cuts or another piece that has the stones and you could take it apart to make the band.

Janish Jewels on Etsy has some single rose cut ruby rings, and I've seen her do eternity bands before so she may be able to do a rose cut eternity. Daniel M on Etsy has had some rose cut 5-stones and if he could get the rose-cut rubies could do an eternity.

I LOVE Kwiat's vintage collection! They have some fabulous pieces! I think when it comes to something special like a rose cut band, getting high quality would be essential to me. Those rubies almost look like they are facted normally on the bottom and just rose cut on the top. If so, that would be the best of both worlds.

Have you looked at www.jewelsbyericagrace.com?? They have made a beautiful rose cut eternity band. If you look through their loose stone parcels they have rose cut ovals and rounds. Also they make cute eternity bands they show them with sapphires but I would think that they could make with rubies too.

Any idea if these are diffused? I ask this because most sapphire melees (sapphire and ruby come from the same corundum family) are diffused, especially in small sizes to get the strong saturation and to get matching colours. Not only that, rubies are the most commonly treated and heavily treated coloured gemstone. If you are concerned about quality, then I suggest getting asking the vendors about treatment. A heavily treated ruby is worth very little.
