I was wondering if anyone could give me there opinion on this.
What size princess cut diamond with side stones would look big on a size seven finger?
I found out my GF has that size and I am trying to figure what a nice size stone would cost me. Thanks

Phil

sorry I forgot to mention, I want to have trillions on the side I think.
She doesnt have real big hands, and she is small. But she would like a a good size stone.
thanks

5ct center and 2ct side stones would look great.
Less than 1ct center with .20ct each shoulders would look lousy and mean.

Thanks man, yeah I wish I could afford a 5 carot lol but what about for a smaller budget then that.

any advice would be apprecaited

Phil

what is the model and center stone....

I want the center stone to be a princess cut, and Trillions on the side
Does 1.5 carats look big for the center with about .65 on the sides?
thanks

I mean, it really depends on your budget and your fiancee-to-be''s tastes. I like a 2ct center with a thin pave band. I am not a "fan" of the "add the side stones to make the one stone look bigger" kinda thing...

I am a size 6 and my RB is 1.5c, my husband thinks it is too big but I think 2c is perfect!!!

The only kind of combination that I have not seen... is princess + trillions LARGER than it's sides. If anyone tries, I am not sure I want to know.

Anything else is a matter of taste, IMO. They are all nice. It is not easy to say if .65 trillions will match the size of a 1.5 princess. Both types of stones vary allot in size for any given weight due to the depth of the cut. At leats trillions go from 30% to 60% deep at least and princess cuts are not allot less variable.

I was just looking at this:

(ring at Faycullen.com)

The trillions are as larger as still feasible to set next to the emerald, and they do not look "bad" to me ;)

The cut of your stones will ultimately determine how close to this look the ring will get, weight is good as a rough guyde.

Hope this helps.
