So I''ve got my engagement band all picked out, but I know my S.O. preferred a set, has anyone had experience with using the following together....basically I''d like to know if anyone has tried or thinks items A and C would work (A and B were designed as a set)

The Wedding Band I''d like to use:

The Ring it was intended to go with:

The Ring I actually purchased:

I''m sure it would work, but perhaps your soon to be fiancee could have some hand in picking out her wedding band once she''s had a chance to wear her engagement ring on her hand and get to "know" it.

Perhaps you could also ask JA if they make a band that would work with it.

Once she wears it a bit, she may decide she wants to pull in the round diamond in a band like this - http://www.thefacetscollection.com/search.cfm?item_category=FEB&style_number_id=57

Or wants something with just baguettes this? http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=3764

I second that idea, especially if she wants a matching set. Even though there are many bands that will work with the e-ring that you''ve purchased, for a matching set, it may be best to work with the company that your e-ring came from.

I have a pear shape engagement ring with the baguettes on either side (like the ring you picked). It is not as
easy as you think to mix/match erings and wedding bands (although these 2 may work together). A couple of
the problems are that the baguettes may not be the same length and or the angle that the baguettes sit at are
different between the two different rings. If you dont mind these possible issues than it would probably be ok.
Like LTP and tigian said, I would let your GF pick out the wedding band. She might want something different
(I did). I went with a 5 stone (round). Its not matchy-matchy but I like the added bling the round stones give me.

I think rings B and C are so similar that the band would look great with either!

I think she should have a say in her wedding band. there are just too many options

I think that they may work together, but may I ask why you just don''t didn''t get the ring that goes with the wedding band to begin with? I think that at this point, since you don''t have a set, let your girlfriend pick out the wedding band and tell her about this band and tell her that this is the one that you picked out but give her the choice in the end.
