Ring on a budget

I set out on a task to get my son's soon to be fiance an engagement ring on a budget. I found a diamond at JA but wasn't super thrilled with their setting selection.
I contacted Yekutiel at ID jewelry and he was able to transfer the diamond there and place it in a quality setting. There is some tiny gapping with the halo but overall given how small his budget was I think we found the largest quality ring and it is beautiful.
I know most people would shy away from a k color diamond but it is beautiful. It is white in most lighting but also has a really beautiful warmth.
Now to wait until Christmas for her to see!
