I am looking for special ring boxes. Is there a site that one may be able to view special ring boxes. If you guys know of more than one feel free to post them more the merrier.
Along these same lines, what color interior is generally accepted as really emphasizing the diamonds beauty the best? I imagine white, simply because so many of the vendors on here have white, but I have also heard black? (I imagine that white is probably better at masking light leakage? but that shouldn''t be a problem with an Ideal cut diamond.)
for humors sake I found this. Though obviously you wouldn't want to use the tiffany box, how much of a let down would that be! Talk about dissapointment! I guess you could keep the actual ring ring box though if this was in your budget:
They also have this in Oak, it might be really nice if you bought a pair of diamond earrings along with the ring then you could present it all together at the engagement? otherwise I suppose it is too big:
and hey I just found this one! it is pretty cute, especially if she was a teddy bear lover and you could find someway to work it into the engagment! Now if only TY made one I might actually be in on it! Teddy ring box
And this one wouldn't be bad. You coudl get a bunch of roses and put this one on a steam in the middle rose box
I guess the first thing to do is to determine how you will propose, then see if there is a box that could be used to enhance the experience, or stick with the original.
Personally I will probably stick with the JA wood box, and maybe buy her a new thing to store her jewelry in, and a little pouch. My only fear is that they used to be called dirt cheap diamonds, so if she ever does a search and finds out, I will be a bit upset! thank god the changed their name though!
Also, when I ran a search on google for "ring box" I got several interesting hits. You might have to order 12, but at 5 bucks you could just give or throw away the others I guess.
