So my office does a treat day every Friday in which one department brings in the treats. Since this Friday is also our holiday decorating party my department thought it would be fun to bring in childhood holiday favorites. I'm going to do a rice krispie platter but so far can only come up with regular, chocolate covered and made with chocolate rice krispies. What are your favorite add ins? Btw - no peanut butter - I'm allergic.

What about adding in m&ms or drizzling caramel over them?

Oh how I love love love Rice Krispie treats. I make them in the microwave for a single-serve treat. They're perfection plain!

You can do a version with fruity pebbles for something a little different. A place I go serves them with raspberry dipping sauce.

I love Rice Krispie treats. Holiday colored sprinkles on top would be appropriate for the occasion - red and green on some, blue or blue and silver on others.

My favorites are a take on the RKT, but made with Corn Flakes and shaped into wreaths (dying the marshmallow/butter mixture green)! They taste pretty much the same and are so festive this time of year sprinkled with some powdered sugar and dotted with red hots. Ummm...yum!
