Resizing a Channel Set Eternity Ring

My full eternity band with channel set baguette diamonds is just a tad too big, and I need it resized to half a size smaller. Can it be done? What does it entail? Please help!

I have always heard that full eternity bands cannot be resized. Can you have sizing beads placed maybe?

I think most jewelers would tell you that you can't size a full eternity.

But an idea comes to mind -- it is channel set and you need to go down half a size (which just might be the diameter of one of your diamonds) might help. When you go, ask if they can just remove one (if baguette) or two (if round melee) channel set diamonds and the adjoining diamonds on either side, size it, then reset the two extra that were removed.

Maybe. It doesn't hurt to run the idea buy whomever would do the sizing to ask.

Perhaps sizing beads are also an option?
