resizing a *bezel* eternity band?

Is it possible and perhaps easier than other setting types? I have heard a lot of mixed information from jewelers about resizing eternity bands. Some say no way, some say of course (even channel set eternity bands, according to one I spoke with, by several sizes). I certainly see the limitations with many eternity bands, but what about bezel set bands? If the band has small stones each set in their own bezel, could it easily be resized up or down even if a plain metal area were to be added if needed, turning it into an "almost eternity" band?

I'll be watching this thread as I've several that needs re-sizing too. Can you pls share your vendor who can do such a re-size? The places I got my rings from told me it's impossible to re-size.

I had considered a full eternity bezel set band once but I was losing weight at the time and the vendor said I was better off waiting till I was finished dieting as they wouldn't be able to resize it for me.
