Reset my OEC diamond into a 3 stone bezel

Some of you may remember my 3 stone OEC I purchased on DB. I did not end up wearing it as a RHR as I thought I would. It was just too delicate. It spent time on my left ring finger as an Ering with an antique orange blossom 18k WG band. Well I decided to reset it into something more substantial. I had the OEC polished and it lost a bit of weight and width but not much. It ended up a 1.05 6.5mm L VS1 and then we added two .40 ct. 4.5mm K VS OECs. The setting is 18k unplated white gold and similar to a Caleb Meyer I like but with changes and added side stones. Total weight is 2 ct. I love the curves of the shank up that go up under the bezels and the graduated diamonds in the side Vs. So excited to get this ring!

I think it is the most gorgeous ring! Love everything about it. One of the side OECs has a slightly teensier table but the color and cut match awesomely so I can get over that! I love it with my antique WG band.

I have been on the fence about milgrain around the inside of the bezels next to the stones. I did not have the jeweler do it until I could see it without first.

What do you think?

I think milgrain will look nice! It will go well with the style of the ring. That said, it looks pretty without as well - but if it was my ring, I'd go for it!

AWESOME!! I love the floating effect of the bezels above the shank! Its so 'James Meyer-ish" and its just perfect for your OEC's!! Oh my --- that really is a BEAUTY! and looks so perfect on your hands, too.

The finger coverage is incredible! Its so "WOW" and really has a huge impact vs how delicate the original 3 stone was. Fabulous reset!
