Registered mail experiences

I had to send my ering to WF for rhodium plating and an estimate to have some changes made to the setting on 11/7. I was told by Vera that the ring should arrive in 3-5 business days to them (Friday), and as of today, it still was not there. I am EXTREMELY nervous and scared that my ring is gone. The PO and Vera telling me registered mail is the most secure mail has NOT calming my fears, lol. Am I overreacting here? I am just beyond worried that it is lost.

I think you will be just fine. You mailed it on a Saturday and last Wednesday was a holiday so you are still in the right timeline. Registered mail is very, very secure but not the fastest. What state are you mailing from?

I know it's worrisome, but I had a package once take 12 days (via Registered Mail, aka slow boat to China!) to get to Houston (from PA). I was half crazy, but it finally got there safe and sound. I think you'll be fine. Hang in there and try not to worry!

Ditto Lynn's experience - I mailed mine from CA to WF, they estimated 4-5 days, and it took 13!! I mailed it on a Thurs, though, so I hit two weekends.

I was a total wreck by the end of it - never been so grateful for that confirmation of receipt voicemail!

I just sent something from NY to Texas last week by registered mail and it got there in five days. When I sent my diamonds to WF to make my five stone, it took eleven or twelve business days for them to tell me they got my package. I was a little worried then too but really don''t worry. Registered mail is very safe. Your package will get there safely. It''s also the season for the post office to be back logged.
