Really dumb question about diameter

OK, I feel dumb for asking this, but I was looking on the appraisal of my 1.5ct rb and it says for diameter 7.06 - 7.26mm. Does this mean the measurements were taken in two places and in one area it measured 7.06mm and in another 7.26mm?

I would imagine the closer these two numbers are together the more symmetrical the diamond is. Does this mean the diamond is way off in symmetry?

That''s the smallest and the biggest diameter. A difference of 0.2mm is not what most people would describe as ''way off''. It''s likely you can''t see it if it''s mounted, even now that you know it''s there.
