Real World Question re a 2 Carat Haloed Cushion

..Will it look "big" on a size 6.5 finger?

I've spent hours reviewing this site, looking at pictures, and learning more than I ever thought I would know. After deciding on and purchasing a stone, I would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the active contributors to this site.

One thing I haven't seen is the ring I'm designing on a finger the same size as my ff's. I have a feeling the answer might be something like... "in the regular world .. yes, but in the PS world, slightly below average."

i think it will look big...2 carat is big and then halo ads a lot of size. so yes.

Are you kidding? HUGE!!!

If you buy a well-cut 2-carat it will look a lot bigger and blingier than most average-cut stones. Throw a halo on it and we're talking ginormous!

check out sillyberry's ring: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/halo-a-cushion-dont-mind-if-i-do.149580/ she haloed a 2-ct cushion and it looks gorgeous on her! looks like she's a size 5.5 buy this might give you some perspective on how big we're talking about. lots of people put halos on their cushion and it looks divine for any size stone and any sized hand

It would look big without the halo - with the halo it will nearly eclipse your finger.... Well, about 50%...

I have a 1.62ct stone in a halo. My ring size is 4.5. It will look blingy and give a lot of finger coverage.

Sounds fabulous to me!! I tried on a 2.17 cushion with a DOUBLE halo and it was awesome!! I would be rockin that thing daily if it wasn't beyond my budget! Not too big at all. 5.25 ring size.

Yes there is a big difference in finger coverage depending on finger size. My friend has tiny fingers (3 I think?) and her 2 ct asscher practically covers her whole finger and looks huge! On me, not so much My ring size isn't huge, but overall I have big hands, long fingers, so that comes into play too.

ETA: Ooops I reread and noticed I have no reading comprehesion skills. You didn't say too big! But yes a halo'd 2ct will be big by anyone's standards. And beautiful to boot!
