I treated myself to an after Christmas goody. I found this ring on Ebay. It''s a Sonia B. pave'' half way around band. G/H color, SI clarity, .66 pts. I got a very good buy on it. I hope it looks as good in person when it arrives. I''ve wanted a new pave'' band for a while because I demolished my old one from daily wear and buying one at regular price just wasn''t in the cards right now. Fingers crossed!

There''s a yellow gold one listed also, if anyone is interested, in a size 8 3/4. I would have preferred the yellow one myself. It''s just wasn''t my size and was too big to size down safely.

I''ve actually never bought a piece of jewelry on Ebay, (although I''ve sold my fair share), and I have to say, I''m a little nervous. I''m such a PITA when it comes to the condition of my jewelry. I''m just keeping my fingers crossed that it''s in the shape the woman said it was in. I know I can always send it in to Sonia to be repolished or whatever it needs. I''m still a little leary...... I bought it because it''s a $1300.- band that I got for $250.- I''m going to stop worrying, it will be here soon. Fingers crossed. Ahhhhh!

Just to update..... my little .66 pt. pave'' band ring went right back into the mail the day after I got it. The setting work was horrible. It was up and down lumpy instead of being a smooth semi circle. Thank goodness the Ebay seller took the return without a problem. It also wasn''t the size she stated.

On to the next thing!

That''s a bummer! But at least she took it back without issues.

As for posting pics - you have to save the picture to your computer, and upload it as an attachment to the website. Right above the box you type in is an "Attach File" button - click it. The file has to be 100k or less to work, though.

Be sure to come show us whatever you get next!

The woman was actually a pretty nice lady and really easy to do business with. It just wasn''t meant to be. Frankly I was more surprised at the shoddy setting job than anything else. I''ll get a new pave'' band somewhere down the road.

I''m really terrible. I always have a project on the back burner. I actually still have to have my loose diamonds set into their little custom homes. I just haven''t gotten there yet.

I''m going to take my time and shop for mountings for my reset. I''m not sure it''s going to be this year, it may be next year but I''m doing it for sure. I just haven''t found the mounting and haven''t thought those golden words that Big finally uttered to Carrie in Paris, "you''re the one". LOL! I just haven''t found "the one" yet. I''m keeping my pear. I was going to upgrade but nah..... probably not. I''m darned grateful for what I have. My hubby doesn''t mind at all if I change the mounting from yellow gold to platinum, so I can do what I want there. To halo, or not the halo, that is the question! Probably halo, but one band or two?? Probably two but it depends on the mounting. We''ll see. When I find "the one", I''ll let you guys know!
