Out of all of these cuts, I like the new Jubilee, then squarish radiant, then princess.

I believe the facets go..most..jubilee-88, radiant-70, princess 60-70.. Is this right?

How are the cost comparisons?

I do not know about the other shapes, but number of facets varies greatly in princess-cuts.

Bezel-corner princess-cuts have 17 facets in the crown-area, while french-corners have 21 facets. We, for example, use french-corners.

In the pavilion-side, the number of facets is defined by the number of chevron-facets. We use mostly only 2 lines of chevron-facets, which leads to 24 pavilion-facets only. Most princess-cuts on the market will have 4 lines of chevron-facets, increasing the number of pavilion-facets to 40.

As for the relation between beauty and the number of facets, let me refer to the German saying: ''In der Beschränkung erkannt man der Meister''

Live long,
in beauty the man in love is master? I''m making this up of course lol

Sorry for annoying you with German, but I find it difficult to translate.

Literally, it means: ''In the restriction, one recognizes the master.''

Does it make sense?
