Hi,

I'm a beginner in Diamond and stuff and I deseparatly need some advice from you guys.
I'm planning to buy a Radiant Cut diamond and the spec. is as follow:
1.01 Carat, VVS2, E color, Depth 75.6, Table 65, no Fluorescence
Price: $3600

Is this a good diamond? Is the Depth too much? Will the diamond appear too small?
Please helppppp!!

Thanks

That is very deep for a radiant cut stone. I think it will take too much away from the spread and appear smaller than its carat wt. I think you can do better if you look around some more. Here's the link for AGA radiant cut proportions:

Thank you for your reply.

But can you tell me a little more about the problem of this diamond?
What is the ideal spec I should get from?

Furthermore radiants are great for making colored diamonds look darker, but not the best for colorless.
Queen of hearts is the same outline but a far better optical performer.
Ask around, a few retailers stock them and they are on line.
